Title: Obscure Honda Electrical Question

Okay guys...

I need to know the primary and secondary ohm ratings for a 1981 Honda CM400.

(John's project bike).

You mean the values for the coil?

According to my Clymer manual, under ignition coil
"Honda does not provide resistance specifications for the 400cc models"

They do list values for the 450

primary 0.55 - 0.65 ohms (450 rebel 0.10 - 0.30 ohms)
secondary 7200 - 8800 ohms (450 rebel 7400 - 11000 ohms)
