Title: Removing rivnuts for chroming of swingarm
Post by: chris_chops on January 16, 2004, 12:30:27 PM
Help!  How do I remove 5mm And 6mm rivnuts from an aluminum swingarm without screwing it up for reinstallation of the rivnuts after the swingarm is chromed? Thanks for any advice.

You can just leave the rivnuts in.  The chromer should be able to provide you with something to plug the hole or just put a cheap bolt in it.  Those rivnuts are a pain to remove and replace..
