Title: Attention Pacific Coast Racers!
Post by: TiffineyIngram on January 13, 2004, 08:02:18 AM
Okay, we've had some issues with the Pacific banquet, as we all know, and now I want some input.  Would any of you rather have the Southwest and Pacific banquets combined on February 21st?  Or would you prefer a banquet held on a non-race weekend in March at a mid-point in Cali, or on the first race-weekend in Cali on April 12?  Please respond ASAP, and ask your friends and fellow racers.  This is your banquet, please let me know what you would like best.

Thanks!

I would vote for combining them...

I would vote for having it at a midpoint in Cali as soon as possible. I would not vote for combining them with SW. A number of us are not going to the first SW round in Phoenix.

Yeah, phoenix is almost 15 hours away for me so, i won't be able to make it if you combine 'em.

I would vote for having it at the first CA race weekend. Second choice would be combining it with the SW weekend - and asking Tristan nicely if he would collect them since he'll be on stage all night anyway  ;)   Last choice by a long way would be trekking to Bakersfield on a non-race weekend - fantastic place though it is  ;D

I vote for holding it as soon as possible in Cali at a midpoint location. Bakersfield is fine with me.

Please first race weekend in the pacific region!  If that will not work combined with the SW region is my second choice and probably would not make any other event.  Thanks!

I don't really care, but it would be convienient at Firebird on the 21st. Bakersfield is only a short drive for me as well, but Iwould vote for Firebird or Streets of Willow. I don't mind getitng your trophy Simon but you might have to wait a while because after the first round I'm not sure how much P/SW CCS I will be doing....I get to go over to the East Coast!!!!

I'm already having to wait until mid-way through the season so there's no great urgency. You planning on racing at Daytona??

Not at all. So far at least. Good luck this year Simon. Get your Duc fixed?

Heard you had a great battle in the twins race...

John-Mark on his Aprilia beat you by 50ft.. thats a pretty awesome "test"

Are you going to do any of the WERA west stuff this year? Coming to Fontana this weekend??

I'd like to try some of the WERA events but as you know running Ducs has some added 'complications' and I think I am already spending from the 2012 race budget . Adding another series would be tough in terms of time and the added maintenance on the bike. This year my plan was to do the whole AFM season and all the CA CCS races. Having had such a blast at WSMC I'm going to add that one to the list so the number of weekends will be testing Lorraine's patience  :D

Yep, I lost by 50ft on my first weekend at that track so I'll be trying harder next month. It's certainly a challenging track!!

Good luck at Fontana and let me know of any BW or trackdays up north that you're planning and I'll come and chase you  ;D

Hell man, you dont have to chase ME for very long, Tristan maybe, but not me...

Im still trying to recover from my laguna crash...

Ill let ya know about BW, and I think we will be at the first CCS race at Firebird east...

Ill try to round up the guys and come root you and Britt on at the next WSMC race...
