Am I correct in reading the schedule that there are two back-to-back weekends in June (NHIS and VIR) - and NO race weekends in July? Or is one of these a typo?
??? there is no VIR shown it is NHIS to Barber June 20 and 27 then next race sept 25 at Vegas
on the mailer it has, is VIR canceled then? Or a typo on the website...
Wait I see the schedule you looked at disregard my previous post.
so they missed a round on the website schedule page, but has it in the PDF schedule. better corrrect it ;)
So what's the correct schedule then? ::)
I sent a message in. It should be corrected/answered tomorrow.
Ok, I'm lost.
I'll wait until tomorrow...
And I believe that Blackhawk is listed at August 21-22...
But Blackhawk Farms has CCS listed at August 28-29?
The BHF schedule on their website is from 2003 (2002 if you look under motorcycles). So that looks to be the problem.

Confirmed...
Blackhawk Farms is on August 28-29
Not August 21-22
Just got off the phone with the folks in Ft. Worth. Tiffeny and Kevin are gone, but Kenneth, and I believe Nicole were there.
From what they were able to tell me, the PDF is the correct FUSA schedule, but that will probably need to be confirmed with Kevin or Tiffeny.
The PDF is NOT correct on just this: BHf IS August 28/29 as dave said.
Linda told me that the FUSA date at VIR is good.
It's a date in July that they are loosing.
And the CCS race at Blackhawk is on May 29-30, not 30/31...
Yep here is link to correct FUSA schedule

There will be an update/correction doneearly next week so check back then for regional races.
QuoteKenneth, and I believe Nicole...
You can call him Kenny too...
;D
Negative, we are not losing a date in July. The schedule in the mailer is accurate.

Are all of the FUSA rounds supposed to coincide with a CCS weekend? I know you stated that the regional races will be corrected - please be sure to double check this with the LRRS schedule.
All of the FUSA rounds correspond to a regional CCS weekend - EXCEPT FUSA's NHIS date on 6/18-6/20.
According to the LRRS schedule, there are NO races scheduled for that weekend.
I'm going to wait for "early next week" to see the updates... you guys are making me very nervous about requesting my vacation time for next year (which needs to be done ASAP btw...)
That weekend should be pretty secure. The weekend of the Loudon Classic dates back through about seventy five years or so. It is a little different in that it's a CAN/AM program. I don't know the details, but expect a lot of Canadian riders. Additionally, the purse is substantially larger there.

OK... so does that mean that the FUSA round at NHIS does NOT correspond with an LRRS date? Or does it just mean that the LRRS date is incorrect?
LRRS is NOT a F/USA event and F/USA is NOT an LRRS event.
The LRRS and F/USA Loudon Classic weekends are back-to-back book-ending the Laconia Bikeweek in the same fashion that CCS/AMA do down at Daytona in the spring (as the Loudon Classic used to be an AMA event)
The LRRS weekend is first and is known as the warmup to the national weekend.
During mid week there is the Vintage event and the two day Penguin Pro School.
The F/USA event the following weekend will have some support races (ie--Jimmy Adamo race, Can/AM 125, Diablo 250, SuperMotard event, etc) but does not have a CCS based schedule nor related class structure.
Ah HA... ok, thank you for clarifying, Adam.
so if I want some track time at loudon I have to do the penguin school?
Tues/Wes is penguin school. Its not open track time or a track day--its a school session with Eric Wood in which many many participants have dropped their laptimes several seconds.
Thursday is an open test day, usually for like $100.
