Title: GP Banquet
Post by: roadracer797 on January 04, 2004, 12:40:55 PM
Just got back from the banquet in St. Loius and want to give a great big thank you to Tiff, you did a fantastic job and sorry you couldn't be there. to all of you who decided this one was not for you you missed a fantastic dinner and a great time with us.
I feel as though the people who won trophies should have been kind enough to show up and except them. But that wasn't the way it was so instead we just partied a whole lot more.

Wish I could have been there. I'll bet attendance would have been better if it wasn't scheduled during the holidays.

A 13 hour drive, a casino atmosphere, and I had to work....

I guess we're just a bunch of asses.

Thank you for the complements!  I wish I could have been there, but my yorkie and I got pregnant within a week of each other (based on how cute the puppies are, it wasn't by the same person) and between my ever-growing belly and her delivering on December 30, I had to stay home and take care of us.  I am so happy that everyone had fun, and I look forward to hearing all the stories that come back from the event!  I'll see everyone at the Midwest/Great Lakes banquet on January 17th!  If you haven't gotten your reservations in, please do it ASAP!  Don't miss out on a great party!

Yes it was fun, thanks Tiffiney!

I think many of those who did not attend may attend the MW/GL Banquet.  Many of the winners in GP are actually home based in the other 2 regions.

to be fair :)

My thoughts exactly, since I am 45 minutes from the MW/GL banquet and 5 hours from the GP banquet.

I don't know if I got anything, but I like going to see everyone.

With the date, it just wasn't in the cards for me.  That's one of the few times I get to see my dad and sister in Omaha.

Craig, did you sell your F2?

I do realize that it was a long drive for a lot of people but so was the races thta made you the regional winner, i was just stateding a opinion. I went only because I won some classes and felt I should be there. The ride home was not much fun but I didn't know we would be hit with so much snow and rain, but it was worth the trip down. As for the casino I had too much else to do to even get close to it, it was quite the walk from the hotel so never even went.
Craig
Oh by the way Dave yes sold the bike right before we took off, Thanks for the help owe you a drink.

Yes I am planning on it, I just need to find my banquet reservation form. My printer isn't working so I can't print the form off of the website.

Mike:

If nothing else, call your reservation into Tiffiney.

That's what I ended up doing.
