Welcome to my world. :(

Personally, I despise christmas time. The true meaning has gone completely out the window. I've seen people fight over an "in" frying pan or whatever and watch a woman my age GRAB A TOY from a kid in Walmart because it was the last one. >:( Only if she ran my way........ >:( Other personal reasons also come into play which I dont get into too much. :'(

I agree, x-mas has turned into spend, spend, spend, buy, buy, buy, fight, fight, fight. The true meaning has been forgotten.

Christmas....

It's in the name, regardless of if one sees it or not.  Some never do see it, and I guess those are the people that fight.

This is precisely why so much alcohol is consumed this time of year...  I worked for RadioShack in a mall store for 3 years while I was in college.  Since that torment Christmas has always been OK for me.  I think the main part is not to feel pressured to have to do or buy anything you don't have to.  It's also important to pick a time to shop when you won't be stuck in crowds as this will definitely kill the spirit.  I did all my Christmas shopping during the snow storms a couple weeks ago, no crowds...

No problem.  Kind of put things in perspective for me when I got it from one of my cousins...

No kidding!  I just got back from the local Target.  When I pulled up there was about five cop cars out front.  Turns out some bozos started a fight in the store that spilled out in to the parking lot! Merry F'ing Christmas!  Oh well.  The only thing I really don't like about Christmas is that there is no roadracing going on and the conmercialism (not a typo!).  Did you know, in Japan where less than one percent of the population is Christian,  Christmas goes like mad over there?  That just goes to show you what the holiday means to most people.  Luckily my family does not go nuts over the holidays and we just take the time to show eachother we love oneanother and spend some time together.  Happy Holidays to all- Cory.
