That's exactly why people buy Prada and Gucci.  No idea if it looks good, just know it's HIP. :P

I would soooo buy the silver one.  If Harley can make a living off it's History, then why not Ducati!  At least they'd handle and do wheelies.  I think you'd have to be a certain age to appreciate these bikes.  If you can't remember having once wanted a KZ900 with a Kerker more than a date with Jaquilin Bissett, you're probably too young for these machines.

OH MY!!!!

Paul and I had one when we were first married.  LOL!

My favorite memory about that bike is when we lived in our first apartment (and upper and lower), the lady who lived down stairs was just phsyco   ::).  Man, we had to listen to her and her boyfriend of the month fighting, her kid crying (the poor thing) and deal with the other freaked out crap she used to pull.  One day, Paul took of the exhaust so there were just the header pipes on the bike, pointed it towards the house and took the rpms up to eight or nine grand.  The windows and doors were just rattling in the frames but what was the best part was the lady downstairs reaction....  She darn near broke the door she slammed it soo hard.  She knew it didn't pay to say anything to Paul, he couldn't have heard it anyways.  Paul looked up at me with a huge smile and a look of victory on his face.

A month later we moved out (thank goodness!).

Dawn   ;D

I am not that old, I mean young, but I certainly like the bikes.  I think the yellow and silver bikes are my favorite.  The twin shock thing on the black is not me.

Anyway, Dawn/Paul when are you all going to change your username?

You're all making me feel so old!  I've got a 750 Sport and 750 GT in the garage and still ride the Sport regularly.  The early and mid seventies Ducatis have a certain element purity of purpose that Ducati hasn't ever returned to.  A lot of people consider the 750F1 of '85-'86 to be the last real Ducati.  As much as I love Ducati, I'll stay with my Suzukis for racing.
