Forgive me if you've seen this before....but I just found it. Unbelievable....and not done with computer graphics - it did take 606 tries to get it right though...

So....how do the 3 tires roll UP the ramp??
This is actually an old ad. There was a huge write-up of how it was done.
The cars... There were 4 of them in existence when the ad was made.
The engineers presented the tape to the executives who said "wow, that is some impressive CGI". They stopped the room when they said "there is no CGI in this. It is complete, uncut end-to-end video".
The execs asked how they could do it since there were only 4 cars in existence. They replied, there is now 1 car... and this tape...
Tires roll up hill by very carefully weighting them on the top.
I'll see if I can dig up the article on it. It's really cool...
Great video. Wile E. Coyote would be proud. ;D

My hero! I've lived my life in Wile's honor. Spend a fortune, wrench 'till my hands bleed, light the fuse, fall 1000 feet to a puff of dust. Get up, crawl home, come back next weekend to try again... :-[ ;) ;D
Chris... didn't you use to have Acme Motorcycle Parts as one of your sponsors? ;D
Here's a story that explains what it took to film the ad. The date on this story indicates that it ran in April of '03.
