Title: Final race report of '03
Post by: MZGirl on November 29, 2003, 04:28:51 PM
This is our team's last race report of '03.  This issue of The Bullseye has our Daytona ROC report (long story), and final races from ASMA and CCS SW.

I am now taking a much-needed break from writing this newsletter.  But it will be back next year, hopefully bigger & better!

Enjoy!   :)

Elaine!  I am very impressed!  I was not aware that you did this!  I think maybe you should do the entire SW region, write about all the races and submit them to Roadracing World!  I will even help if you want!  Oh and BTW, where do you get to do cyclocross in Tuscon?  I don't even think we have that here in Phoenix.  Maybe I should get the old Raliegh up and rolling again.

Thanks!  Nice to know people actually read the report and enjoy it.   :D  I originally started the newsletter to keep sponsors updated, but figured what the heck, why not distribute it so everyone can read it.

I've thought about writing stuff for RRW.  Just haven't done it.  But all the CCS SW stuff?  Yikes!   :o  I have a hard time keeping my own races straight.  I would need soooo much help.  Like maybe wiring you up with a tape recorder.   ;)

There are 2 more Tucson city cyclocross races left.  Next is Dec. 14th at Ft. Lowell park and Jan. 4th at Murietta Park.  They require a USCF or NORBA license, or you can buy a 1 day for $5.  Race entries are only $10.  The last race is the state championship on Jan. 11th at Reid Park, but you have to have an annual license for that.  Check out http://www.desertfoxescycling.com under "Club Events" for all the details.  These races are a ton of fun.  No bike restrictions (many ride MTBs), and for the guys it's only a 45 min sprint race.  Racing usually wraps up by noon.  Totally fun!
