I checked my finishes with what CCS has for points totals and they are correct (at least mine are).
The beauty is that NOW I have the class chapionships for both GTU and MWSS. ;D ;D ;D
PLUS, I'm second in the rest of my classes; MWSB, MWGP, and ULGP. ;D
Not too shabby for someone who missed some races.
;D ;D ;D
I'm not gloating......I'm excited
Deal with it. >:(
Admit it Dave....
you're gloating! :o ;) ;D
Congratulations
Dawn :)
Now if we can get the Midwest points corrected. THey still havent put in the AM/EX GTU race results from 10/3 at Gateway in yet.
Congrats Dave!
Ya should have been out at streets dude! It was a great weekend, but a crash fest. More than I can remember at a CCS race.
Are you gonna do any of the AMSP races for $$$???
Congrats Dave! ;D I thought you were going to be at Streets? It was a crash fest, me included. My 03 R6 is toast. Two totaled bikes in one year. :'(

I agree. You're gloating. ::)
Congrats Dave! I thought you had won the two classes but we can never be to sure. I looked at Brian Long's version of the points and the difference between CCS total's and his were exactly off by race finishing poistions (65 pts, 50 etc) like one race got added or dropped by someone. I bet it was in a SW/CA region race with double points or something. I figure it could get a little hairy trying to keep track. Sometime's the computers are not as smart as we think they are! Once again congratulations and I hope to see more of you next year with a nice whit e plate!
Way to go Dave. Great job this year hopefully I will be out at the new TeamArizona races and see ya out there. From Streets.. All i got to show is the hole shot guy, right Doug. Made up almost 600 pts. on John..almost...congrats John!
Thanks guys.
I wish I could have been at Streets....I think.
John, sorry to hear about your bike....but it sounds like you still pulled of the the Overall win. Congrats!! You have been getting faster all year, not quite the skyrocket learning curve that Tristen's been on, but who is. I guess all those races raced and money spent is paying off.
T, I may try to do an AMP race but it will be only one. I'll have to look at their schedule and decide/make plans. I'll let you know when I do.
Doug, I'm glad you think I was gloating....serves you right. You come to AZ....swoop in and steal the GTO class championship....then leave like a thief in the night without saying goodbye. Weasel. :P

I am not a weasel, I am a Ninja. ;D That's why you didn't see my leave. Hehe...I actually did look for you. Did you take off early that day?

Yeah, it was an epic battle between you and John for sure. Great stuff. Good job to both of you.
Looking forward to seeing you take the expert title next season. ;D

Thanks Tristian, but I ain't celebrating until after they post the final point standings. You certainly took a bucket full of points out of me and made me earn every point I could. Ya also made me grow some grey hairs kid, I will cut them off and mail them to you. ;D Great riding, man how you have improved this year!
I think you have the mojo to make it to the top. This is already the top for me pretty much so it was sweet to have been pushed to the limit by somebody with such a bright future in the sport. Best of luck next season and beyond that. :)
Regardless of how it turned out, it truely was a great battle with the points coming down to the last race of the season, and we still arent sure who won!!
Either way, my personal congratulations to John, Doug, Dave, Simon, Matt, Garth, Gregg & Brian, and everyone else that ran a great season and really created an atmoshpere of "friendly" competition!
Coming into the last race weekend felt more like a giant group of friends than the cutthroat race weekend that it was! ;D
See you guys next year!

Were you watching the same races I saw?

Hey, give me a break! I crashed and totled my R6 in one race and was pushed deep into the dirt in another and ended up racing 11 of 14 races on bikes I had never been on before that weekend. :o Of course, even on my own R6 Tristian would have handed me a sound defeat, but not nearly so badly. ;D
I road my bike once before...and got my best personal lap; time at that track..1:22. I'm not going for the title next year just to let you know...thats harsh guys I only lapped John twice the whole weeknd. ;D
Quotethats harsh guys I only lapped John twice the whole weeknd. ;D
Yea, you lapped me in two of the GT races. When you went by (flew by really), I tried to stay with you but . . . uh no. :o My best lap times on Sat were 1:28's and Sunday 1:26's so thea waz no chance. Nice passes Kid! :)
Got waay faster than last time..always very goooood!!
So tell me guys...Did they re-pave that track or what??
OHHhell yeah! It's about 1 to 1 and a half seconds faster too!"(they widened two turns)
