Title: Thanksgiving is at my house
Post by: EX#996 on November 20, 2003, 09:23:05 AM
We'll eat at 1:00 p.m.

Bring a dish to pass.

If you don't like pop, beer, milk or water, you better bring something to drink too.

Dawn   ;)

I'm in--this baby determines what I want to eat and when, so maybe at someone else's house she'll (or he'll) be more polite.

Tis the season for cans of gelled up cranberry and that chemical in turkey as an excuse for drowsiness!  Yay!

I always make way too much dip for Thanksgiving.  We go to my grandparents with Stumpy's parents and they have everything covered so I end making about five gallons of various dips.  Spinich dip, crab dip, shrimp dip, Portside dip, whatever!!!!  So, please, let me know if you are short on dip!

(Thankful for so many new friends this year--here's to you!)

Dawn,

Can you mail me a sample of your stuffing/dressing (I calls it stuffing) so I can make an informed decision on whether I want to make the trip or not.

Thanks dear.

No fair!!!  I've got the Mom and the Mom in law coming here for T-day, and I can't get out of it.  Man, if I wasn't suffering post-season depression before...

Kim:

It takes us 4 hours to get to BHF.  So plan your day accordingly.   ;)

Chris:

Bring Laura, Mom and Mom along.  Plus your gun, Paul will be working on that venison roast in the morning.   ;) ;D

Stumpy:

The only dip at our house is laying on the couch right now (hee heee heee).  No seriously, your family seems to have a dip fetish.

Super_Dave:

We did raise our own beef at one time (yummm..) but we figured its cheaper to get the fuzzy brown ones with horns.  Plus the meat is a lot leaner.  However, for Thanksgiving, you have to have the bird.

Kris:

Sorry, stuffing (yeah, that's what I call it too) will only be made on Thursday.

I have a 25 lb bird.  I hope its big enough.  Oh wait, I hope my oven is big enough.

Hey Chris,

If you want to come up the day after, that would be great!  Both Paul and I have off (and Saturday too!).
