Title: Who's playing McDonalds Monopoly?
Post by: motomadness on November 03, 2003, 10:55:45 AM
I am playing the game with a couple of people from work, but we are getting the same pieces.  It's always been a question of mine as to whether certain regions of the country get different game pieces.

So far my colleagues and I are one piece away from winning the $1million, two pieces away from winning the plasma TV, one piece away from winning the camera phone, amongst others.

I think we should work together on this one.  Besides we are all family anyway.  Let's make a deal, whomever helps out (first come, first served), we'll split the prizes, or pay the other persons taxes to buy that person out.

Anyone game?

Cool, my friends at work and I have the following pieces:

Park Place #1021
North Carolina Ave #1019
B&O Railroad #1025 and Pennsylvania Railroad #1024
Illinois Ave #1014 and Indiana Ave #1013
New York Ave #1011
State Ave #1007 and St. Charles #1006

1fastmofo,
with your Reading Railroad #1023 we only need Short Line #1026 to get the Whitewater Adventure Trip and with your Pacific Ave #1018 we only need Pennsylvania Ave #1020 to get the Plasma TV

I guess I know where I am eating tonight.

Remember last time they did the Monopoly thing?  They had a third party manage it to prevent suspision that McDonald's had it "fixed".
It later came out that the company they hired to manage it had "fixed" it for themselves...

I wonder if the same people are managing Philly  ::)

Hey Sean!  K3 here.  My friend Don De Chant borrowed a rear sprocket from an R6 rider who was pitted next to you at Blackhawk.  He thinks that you and the R6 guy were friends.  Anyhow, Don never returned the part, and would like to make things right.  Any idea who this guy is or how to get ahold of him?

Yeah, I got those peices here in Buffalo, NY. But, I travel allot for work. So I'll see what else I can find. It would be cool to win something. I think it's impossible to win by yourself, just going to one McD's.

Let me know if you come across any of the other peices and I'll do the same.  ;D

Quotebut the odds are stacked way against you!!

Are we talking about motorcycle racing or winning a lottery?

Dave this is a plan for improved self sponsorship.  $1million goes a long way for a club racer.  A plasma TV make watching those races much easier on the eyes.

There is one missing piece from every group.. and only a certain number maid of each.. i.e. only one piece to win the 1M prize, only 25 for the soundsystem (the rules will tell you how many, its however many of each prize group they are giving out).  The probability of getting the missing peice is theoretically the same for what ever McD you goto, but in reality McD with a higher customer volume will turn over more pieces.  Conclusion: it doesn't matter where you go, you have about the same chance... and you won't win.  If no one wins, they don;t have to pay out.

You can also send them a SASE for game pieces.

Sorry to rain on the parade

Ryan,

You think you're so smart!  ::) You always have to ruin everything!  :P But, I will probably be stopping by your house this weekend to pick up my loot.

Oh, and when I win the Million we're still going to split all our racing costs.  ;D
