Oh yeah...'bout time. ;D I'll see you in Chicago in February! That info's not even on the website yet.
This is the coolest movie trailer I've ever seen:

Way cool!! I will be there also!!!
Hey is this one of those "new" "unobtrusive " marketing techniques that I saw profiled on one of those hour long news programs last week?
You get marketed to, but you don't realize that you are. SO that makes you think that what you are being marketed is cooler than what it is. Somehow you are now in the "KNOW" about something new.
Not saying that "FASTER" is not cool, it might be. Just wondering...
ROAD TRIP! ;D
QuoteROAD TRIP! ;D
Oh yea...count me in! I like road trips!
where can i watch in Washington?
Can't. You have to come to Chicago to see it with all of us. ;)
Sounds like we need to make an event out of this!
I'm planning on being there...Wouldnt miss this one! Hope its better than Biker Boyz
Just name the place and time... 8)

Real racers, real bikes, real races. It's a documentary, not some lame bullsh1t biker boyz crap.
Much as the matrix was "nerd porn", this movie shall be a cult classic as "road-racer porn"

Just don't pull a "Paul Reubens" or else I'm not sitting anywhere near you in the theater.

He said "pull" ;D
It better be worth the 120 mile drive from Philly to New York ;D
Out here in the boondocks it takes a while to download anything over the twine and soup-can phone system. The trailer for this movie took about an hour. I just got up in the night, started the download, and went back to bed.
That trailer blew away the best commercials and intros of the old Speedvision. At one point, Rossi makes the comment, "When first I go to try thee five-haandreed..." (we see a bike snap sideways and launch it's rider straight up.) "Oh FAAK!!!"
No Biker Boyz crap here. This is going to be the movie that replaces "On Any Sunday" in our hearts. Man, I can't wait.
Better than "On Any Sunday"?
I don't know...
A big bike is cool, but it's kind of like special effects...
I liked Top Gun for the jet scenes, but Lawrence of Arabia is certainly a better move about men...not about jets.

Who am I.
EEWAEEEEWWWWWWWW!
The guy sitting in front of Paul Reubens in the movie theatre... ;D
.
Dave
what is wrong with you?

Did you see the trailer, Dave? It looks like this will be a documentary on GP racing from the perspective of the real riders. No FX, just cameras like "On any Sunday" couldn't dream of back in the day.
BTW, All I have to do is start humming the "On Any Sunday" theme to myself, and my eye sockets get all sweaty. I replaced my worn out VHS tape with a DVD last year. I can quote most of the funny lines from that movie, and influence from the humor and gentle sarcasm of the narration can be redily noticed in the writing I do for Chicagoland Motorsports News. I know that nothing will ever cover the breadth of motorcycling as a whole the way "On Any Sunday" did, but this looks to be the first movie about ANY form of motorsport since "LeMans" in 1970 to give an accurate portrayal of racing. I just hope that the movie can live up to the trailer.
LOA
"You Arabs are a cruel and barbarous people, and you'll never amount to anything until you learn to stop killing each other!"
OAS
"They don't all make it to the end of the season..."
TG
"What was the name of that place? Truckmasters? Yeah. I'm gonna need that."
OAS
"Watch his leg. It's amazing that it didn't break."
TG
"Turn and burn, baby! Woo hoo!!!"
See Dave, they all have entertainment value. ;D
OAS
"Racers are good people." ;D
