Like I was stating in an earlier post...
I think what we do at Visionsports Riding Schools is often about personal victories. Little tricks and ideas and set up changes that make life just a bit easier on the race track. Sometimes, mind games and an attitude adjustment.
But, being a champion is nice...
So, to the guys that won championships that have came to my school, nice job!
Ultimately, you sacrificeds, scrapped, made people around you angry, and dropped a house full of cash. But it is certainly fun...
Regional Champions, some of you guys are multiple champions, but I'm not gonna give you double billing...you guys can do that yourselves....

Wait and see. http://www.team-visionsports.com
Working on some new stuff, but nothing firm. I'll have updates on the website, my VRS email list, and here.
If you want, you can e-mail me to get on my email list here... visionsprt@netwurx.net I do put out some different things occasionally on that list that is not regularly posted.
It's an honor to be included on the list with these CHAMPIONS!!! ;) Even more so to be included on such a winning TEAM! Congrats to everyone!
Thanks Dave!
Paul appreciated your mentoring throughout the season.
BTW, turn that thumb around!
Dawn ;D
thanks for all the help this year Dave. We worked on
a lot and it paid off. now if CCS could just prove it by fixing the points >:(
in memory of Bryan,
MightyThorny.
Dave
Thanks a lot for everything you did for me this year, not sure i could have done it on the bikes the way they were when you first looked at them. Glad you got a Championship to go along with your kids.
Thank You
Craig
Wah!!! >:(
Thanks, Dave!
It's great to be a member of the Visionsports family/team. It makes me proud to have "Represented" well for you.
I've been tooting the Visionsports horn for so long now that I'm not going to bother to write a long testimony here. You can be a winner without Visionsports, and you can climb a mountain without equipment. But it's harder...
What percentage of your student-racers were champions this year, Dave? I'l bet the percentage is high!
And Jessie? You're my hero, you little punk! ;D ;)
Thanks guys....
Ratio? Don't know, K3. Never really gave it a whole lot of thought.
I'm not looking for numbers. If you wanted that, you could just spend money. What I want are riders that can do it for the least reasonable amount of money.
Benji's a good example. Only did Blackhawks in order to get the Blackhawk Championship so that he could have free entries next year. Nice Bonus. Then go to ROC and win, if possible. That's the biggest bang for the buck, really. Three championships in seven events, essentially. That about right Benji? Yeah, a couple of other races...I know one at MAM, at least, but I can't remember.
JJ Zehr did well too. I think he entered maybe three events for each weekend he raced...Great Lakes region only because it had the fewest events. Won some championships. Would have been better if he didn't destroy things at Gateway...
Then there's K3...the poster child for frustration and obstinance. Yeah, K3 never gave up. Let's not talk about how many bikes... :o. Guess I kept talking him into fun.

Some people are remembered for their riding abilities... :-[ ;D
Nice to know I'll be remembered around campfires thirty years from now as the guy who simply refused to quit.

pretty much...money was an issue, for the track championship. but next year will be different, will race
for ROC gridding... and do formula USA. i got a 1:10
in me for BHF as well. got lots more goals for next year. Beating Super Dave is also on the list.
we will see how things pan out.

Yeah, but that's easy. Try beating me ten years ago. You've got to try though, right? Then you've got to do it week in and week out.
;D
I love you guys...And Kim too...
Thanks Dave.....
Not problem, Ike...
Credit where credit is due.
I think you came in pretty close with K3 for the "stickin' it out award". Agreed?
You two can be poster children...K3 with bikes stacked up...Ike with holes in his body....As long as you guys are smilin'.
:o ;D
You know, there was a time when Ike and I very nearly became teammates... How much bad Karma can you fit in one trailer? :o
But would that be something like two negatives make a positive?
Hmmmmm.
Chef = -x
K3 = -y
Teammates ... -x X -y = +xy

Well, to start with you have to still be alive. At least you've got that one licked, Lazarus! :o
