Hey!  Did you know there's no camping?  Well there's not.  Isn't that stupid.  VERY inconvienent for the price of the weekend. Apparently we'll have to be out by 6-6:30 Saturday night.  Dumb.

So anyway, I don't know if we're going to leave stuff there at night or not.  I'll try to keep a space clear for you.  We'll need to be near the power.  Look for our new red eazyup.  It's a freaking circus tent. Suits us perfectly.

Weather looks good so far!

NESBA probably does not want to pay the fee to allow camping. The track is expensive enough to rent ($13,000 to $14,000 per day) without allowing camping

Just wanted to clarify the camping issue.  Yes, I agree not what we would all like.  The camping fee for NESBA would be $1200.00 which we were/are more than willing to pay. NO PROBLEM.

The reason for no camping is as decision made by Road America.  Here is the copy of the E-mail.

Hi,

It has been decided that for this weekend Road America will not be available for camping.  We have no pre-registrations, and while the forecast is wonderful, the cost of the staffing would probably exceed the number of people camping.

With that in mind, we have checked with the Plymouth Rock Campground, and they will be open.  Their campground is located to the East of Gate two and has everything one could want to offer.

Please notify anyone that needs to know.  Thank you for all of your efforts.

Gail

That's funny because we called RA and they said NESBA did not want camping.  She said that exactly.  No biggie, but why pass the blame--not you Garth, but the RA lady.  What a dumb thing to lie to a customer about (in a very snotty voice, I might add  ;D ) .

Thanx Heather! If you can't keep one saved, I appreciate you trying, anyway.  :D

I will be getting there around 6:15 or so on Sunday. (I've been told the gates will open at 6:30)

Do you still have your old EZ Up? Want to maybe sell it?  ;D

I think we're keeping it for now.  You know how we usually have large crowds and the extra room on rainy days would be nice.  We'll let you know if we do sell it.  It's a trusty little green canopy  ;D.

K. Cool. Because, well, if you've seen mine, you know why I want a better one.  :o But, it got me through the year  :D

Me and Jennifer will see you Sunday!

Heather! We'll need a lot of space now, so I don't think it would be feasible for you to try and save any. My uncle's coming now, too. Which means another truck, and, to your delight, he'll be riding an F4i!  ;) :D So, we'll probably find our own space Sunday as he'll be sharing my canopy.

Thanx!

We'll still see you Sunday. We'll have burgers going on the lunchbreak! Anyone is welcome.

I'm ready to go faster!  ;D
