My first time racing at Daytona so could someone explain how the garages are set up? Got my comfirmation in the mail with G57. Can I park close or do I have to leave the trailer somewhere else and carry everything to the garage? Also will I be able to leave after my last race on Saturday or wait to the end of the day?
Thanks in advance.

they are supposed to also mail you a package with garage assignment and a map/layout of the garage area. If not they will give you one at registration. There are 3 rows of open air garages right behind pit out and you will use the number assigned to you. 2 riders get to share one garage bay. Each garage can hold 3-4 bikes. You can park you trailer infront of your garage bay if you are not planning on taking it out of the track everyday. In the morning you will arrive at the track, park your vehicle in the parking area and walk into the garage area.

One word of advice, if spectators are around, leave your trailers closed, and equipment inside the trailer when you are not at your garage area. We have had tires, a pit bull stand and helmets stolen before.

Am I right in assuming that the garages have power? It'd be nice not to have to haul the generator.

Who's in garage #67 with me?

Also - anyone need a ride from Austin, TX or on the way? Room for one bike and one rider. Have a cheap spare bed in Sanford too (about 35-40 minutes to the track).

Regards,

Nick

there is a work table and power outlet in the garages. I am in #80, should be the one right by the entrance to the garage area.

Question: Since I've always worked out of a trailer and never had one before, do we have to pay extra $ for a garage?
