even though I have always liked honda's looks I would have to say the yammie does more for me. It just looks smoother than the cbr. I think it's not so much the split fairing as the color scheme chosen for this bike. It really make the lower stick out like a sore thumb. My XX has the split like this and it looks fine because they blend together.

I am really interested to see how the performance of the new cbr stacks up to the 2004 models from the other manufaturers.
