Helicopter in turn 7 after racing was over? Heard someone had an incident while packing up and had to be transported...just wanted to make sure everything was ok????
wasn't race related. Appearntly a truck full of spectators were returning thru the infield road at the end of the last race when at least one of the passengers in the back of the truck was ejected from the back of the truck. one of them was injured enough to require a helo transport.
I knew it wasn't race related, but wanted to make sure everything was ok. I hate hearing about stuff like that. :(

From the account in the paper and other "first person" accounts it would appear that speed was a contributing factor in the severity of the accident.
