Title: Black hawk question
Post by: Dan Ortega on June 27, 2002, 08:12:20 AM
Hey I got a question for some of the faster guys (sub 1:19s) who ride R6s at BHF.  What are you running for gearing?

DanO, what bike, the Suzuki worked (For me) with way different than the R6. If you say the R6, I think myself and others were bouncing 15-50 back and forth to 49. It was a few yrs ago but on my Gsxr600 I think I bounced around 15-46, 47, and48. What were you using on your r6 in comparo to the Kawi?

I know that Dan can run in the 11's to 13's all day long.

What tires?

Dave, the original post was from 2002.  It's probably the same Dan.

Well I don't know about the 600s, but 15/45 was one combination that worked for the SV (sub 19s all day long...) ;D :D ;)

That was back in the day when Dan had to work to beat me...   :'(  And I'd trade places with Andy Fuersthaler a dozen times in any given race...   :-/

memories...
