Through this board I started swapping e mails with a guy named Doug Sheets. He lives in Pennsylvania, but wanted to try the Visionsports school, ride Blackhawk and meet all the Midwest people. He is coming to Wegman. Due to valvetrain carnage I will most likely be missing Visionsports, and may end up borrowing a bike for the weekend. I had planned to be Doug's host all four days and make sure that he got hooked up with all the fun people. I am asking all my Midwest buds to find Doug and make sure he's treated like royalty. He's coming a long way to race with us, so don't let me down. I've been telling him for a year how cool the Midwest racers are, so don't make a liar out of me...

Doug is most welcome at the Team Stumpy pit--as everyone is! We're kind of hard to miss.

Casper and I seem to be two of the more... um, irrepressable personalities in the club. I don't know if that's good or bad, but at least w both have lots of friends!
We'll be at VRS Thursday, too, so I'm sure we'll see him one way or another...he'll have a fine time at BHF. I'd offer him a cookie, but Stumpy won't let me bake anymore >:(. Last time it was melon cubes for snacks. This time--green apples and carrot sticks. So Doug can have his own packet of carrot sticks!
