This is was supposed to be a Midwest and a Great Lakes event. However the announcer stated that it was an event for Great Plains also.

Would you please clarify?

Do you think that the annoucer knew what the heck he was talking about? That guy didn't even know how to call a race, gee when will we get somebody who can do it right?

LOL!!!

When he was announcing the starting grid he said that we were from Marion, IL :o :o :o

Personally, I though that was a good sign. At MAM in one race the announcer did not realize Paul was leading the race didn't even annouce that he won. Oh well, we have the 1st place wood to prove it.

It better not have been. No where does any schedual say it was. Also, Barber is GP and if Kansas was GP the number of races would be off between GP and MW, GL. I am winning two classes by a slim margin in GP and if they changed this it will screw me. Surely the announcement was a mistake. If not they will have to deal with a very unhappy camper at Barber this weekend. Does anyone know what is going on with this for sure?

I spoke with Tiffiney and she said that the announcer made a mistake.

How about the corner workers at the Heartland Park, Aug.2003 event. I was not impressed with their performance at all. And the condition of the track was a joke... I heard they were going to improve the track surface, is this true???

Well you could sign up and become one also if you think you could do better. I dont know if the BHF crew was the crew there. I didnt go. ;D

I'm betting Ray will resurface it soon. But sicne its an one day event, I dont think I'm gonna drive 13hrs one way for that.

I start reading the top post and im goin what announcer , where, was there a race this weekend ?? Whats goin on ?? Then i realize that the post is like 15 years old, and you just bumped it to the top !!!

BTW be looking out for a certain blue crown vic with white stripe on your way to Road america this year. Never know how long a vehicle inspection will take. Maybe 2 days ;D ;D
