Title: T.E.A.M. Arizona trackday change
Post by: Mark_Weiss on July 31, 2003, 10:25:47 PM
T.E.A.M. Arizona's trackday on August 17 was originally planned for the East track at Firebird. Due to resurfacing which is not currently completed, we are moving to the West track. A number of safety improvements have been made to the West circuit since CCS's last crashfest out there and I feel that we'll be able to have a reasonably safe day. There are some significant pavement breakups on the offline side of the main straight, but we will be able to cone that area off without much affect on riding.

Due to the small size of the circuit, we are limiting each of the three groups to 12 riders.

Our Sept 26 CCS practice date is still set for the East track.

Thanks for the info:  since this is a 1/2 day event, what time are we supposed to be there?

We will have the gate open by 4:30. The rider's meeting will be at 5:30 and we plan to go green at 6:00. We will end the day between 11:00 and 11:30.
