Does this mean Craig is not coming either?  He's got to come, or I'll have to put him on notice for release of championship points without following proper racing mandates.   ;D

Anyway, I hope all is well.

Chris:

Is there any way you could get to Rockton or Rockford? We could come down that way and pick you up.  Paul said that there was "No way in hell is he going through Chicago again!"  (I wonder how we are going to get to Gingerman.   ???

Chris..

Dave was telling me that they got an '03 R6 that I might be able to buy the wheels and stuff off.

You have his number?

Actually, I think Eddie was talking about his girlfriend.  Rhiannon would be a nice companion as well, but my main concerns are splitting the gas money, having a co-driver, and knowing I will still get home if I get banged up.
Of course a soft-voiced, sweet-smelling, slinky, tan, luxuriously upholstered co-driver wearing very little clothing would always be a bonus.  (Unless she's named Buxton, because I don't need Paul kicking my butt...)

I'm on the fence...  My daughter flies out to her grandmother's on Thurs 8/7 from Chicago, so I was planning on working out of our Chicago office.  I could leave from there on Thurs afternoon, race Fri/Sat and return on Sun.

However, it breaks my 500mi rule  :-/

Dunno... Likely won't make the decision until the day before...

Is the track anything special?  i.e., I would make the trip if it were comparable to Road A...

Road America is gay....

Next to Sears Point, HPT (Heartland Park Topeka) is one of the more technical tracks that I enjoy.

It has been rough.  Ray Irwin bought the place, and he's trying to make a go of it.  But the changes won't happen over night.

Back to the roughness...not any worse than like Mid-Ohio.
