Title: Barber Motorsports Practice
Post by: xlr8tn on July 15, 2003, 02:39:12 PM
Will there be a practice before the Barber event?  If so, how much and do we pre-register?  Are garages available, or is it a normal pit like other tracks?

Call the track.  They could provide the answers you are looking for.

If you find out.  post it here please.

I've decided thta im going to travel the 10+ hours to go to Baber, everyone says its an "experience" so being new to racing, well  just gotta do it.

Im planning on going to the Pridmore Star school there in August.  Its about 2 weeks before the CCS races.  Theres no way i would go to a track to race my first weekend with the 5 mins of practice that CCS gives ya.  I would think i would be a danger to the other more experienced guys.  I need a few days to have the slightest bit of a clue where i should be on the track.  I've only been on two tracks.

Barber's web site http://www.barbermotorsports.com/events.html shows that Cornerspeed http://www.cornerspeed.net/ has a practice day there on August 15th.

I know how u feel steveee.   We are going to leave on the 14th to head down.  As I don't know the track either..  the 15th gives me all day to play.

How do I get someone to show me the lines on the track?

I am only going to do two races. One saterday and on on sunday. Those are the only all AM races.  the rest are exp and AM mixed. ( I'm not ready for that yet)
