Title: Thanks YPS!
Post by: K3 Chris Onwiler on July 07, 2003, 02:17:39 PM
Who said that a Yellow Plated Sandbagger can't be generous?  Good old Kevin Clark loaned me his 600 so I could salvage some points in F40 after  my motor blew.  Naturally, YPS won... ;D

Yep, K3 lost another motor.   :'(  :'(  Fortunately, it wasn't during practice, and it wasn't during a race.  Can anyone guess where it happened?   ;) :D

I think he needs another motor builder. He rode my bike and it didn't blow up. ;)

Got lots of pieces, but no money.  Need to sort through the pile & see if I can build a junkyard dog from what I have.

Make sure you build it the night before race day and with little sleep!  ;D

Um, was it on that straight piece of pavement directly west of the track?

Ding - Ding - Ding!!!!!

We have a winner!

We were talking about this, the motor was going to blow anyways.  Chris didn't mechanically over rev the engine and the way you run it there is the same way you run it on the road course.  Since it happended on the strip, Chris didn't dump it after the rear locked up so.....

Chris is alright -
No crashed body work -
No pegs levers, forks, etc., to be replaced -

Chris, dude, what were you thinking?  ;D Yeah, I know, you got that crazy berzerker look and that was all she wrote.  ;) Sorry 'bout the motor, but your "junk yard dogs" wind up being purebreds. Good luck getting it togather for BHFs. :D
