Title: Racer Getting Out of Racing
Post by: FUBAR606 on July 04, 2003, 06:18:46 PM
Hello All,

Some you may recall a topic I posted nearly 2 months ago asking for your assistance in helping me locate employment after I was involved in a corporate downsizing. I'd like to thank those that offered whatever help and advice they could, as well as those that offered support. Unfortunately, I have yet to find gainful employment in this tough economy despite my willingness to relocate to parts unknown.

Due to the financial challenges of facing such a situation, I am having to. hopefully just temporarily, get out of racing by selling the equipment I have amassed. I ask you all to please take a look at my posting in the classified section of this board and pass along the information to friends, riding buddies, and fellow racers who may benefit from my plight by purchasing the package I have to offer.

I think it is a great deal especially considering all the extras included. It would be an exceptional package for a dedicated track rider that does not want to run the risk of damaging their precious street machine while enjoying the thrills of a track day. It would be equally beneficial to the just-starting racer on a limited budget. As you can see from the description of the package, it is a turn key deal. I am selling basically everything I have associated with racing except my trailer, personal equipment, and tools.

Do not hesitate to contact me should you or someone you know have any questions. My contact information is listed in the classified posting. Thanks in advance for helping.

Best regards,
Steve

BruteForce,

By education and experience, I am in corporate security management. That is to say I am a physical security specialist (as opposed to an Information Technology type) with 17 years of expertise (more than half at the management level), which includes, but is no way limited to: access control, personnel management, risk mitigation, liability reduction, investigations, executive protection, loss prevention, event/meeting planning, crisis management, business continuity planning, disaster preparedness, etc.

I have work experience in the private and public sectors, which includes positions in corporate security, law enforcement, private investigations, military security, and contract security. I have worked domestically and internationally, but currently reside in Florida with, as I previsouly stated, a willingness to relocate.

I have more information, and a resume, to share, but I would rather not bore the readers of this board with my unemployment rantings more then I already have. If you, or for that matter anyone else, have any additional questions, or feel you might be able to assist, please feel free to EMAIL me: sptshine@aug.com. I was going to reply to your inquiry via email, but you do not have an email address listed in your user profile.

Thanks for expressing an interest!

Regards,
Steve

I operated in the middle-east for a few years, so, yes, this would be something I'd like to find out more about. I'll give Julie a call to look into.

Would she know you by name? If so, what is your name?  ;D Also, how are you aware of these positions?

Thanks a BUNCH for the offer! I have sent my resume to you at the email address you have listed in your profile. Let me know if you have a problem receiving it, and will work on an alternative.

These offers, and information, very much warms my heart towards my fellow racers!!!!!!

No I don't know Julie personally.  I recently got out of the Silent Proffesional field and have a few contacts still.  Shoot me an email I'll try and round up the Kuwait info.  I don't know to much about this particular job, but a few in Kuwait are similar and better paying and you have better living conditions.  Only downfall is the waiting list.  Hope something works out for you.  BTW, whats your backround in the M.E.?
