Title: Gingerman lap times?
Post by: OmniGLH on July 01, 2003, 08:26:33 AM
I got a buddy of mine who races cars, he's heading to Gingerman I *think* this weekend.  He was asking me what kind of lap times I run there on my bike.  Unfortunately, I've never been there.  What kind of lap times are typical from front-running Ams on MW/HW bikes?  What about the faster Exs?

I wanna say that Larry Denning has the lap record at around a 1:23?  You're fast if your below 1:30's.

And if he gives you any flak about times either way...

Just hand him two business cards.  When he asks you what that's all about, tell him that's about the size of the contact patch you'd have at the most, when you're not floating the rear wheel in the air on the brakes and wheeling out of corners.

Then ask how big his is...

I guess size doesn't matter... 8)
