Title: LP USA SportRider Days
Post by: lbk on June 26, 2003, 01:20:37 PM
Does anyone know what these are, how to get signed up, or any other information about them?

I've found registration forms but am completely confused about how you sign up, and what exactly they are. Called LP USA they reffered me back to CCE, which wound up a number that was disconnected. Anyone done one of these, and even more specifically anyone done one at Blackhawk Farms?

Any help is appreciated.

For LP days at Summit Point you just show up and register.  Kinda nice. Licensed racer is $75 and non licensed racer is $120.  At Summit they split the groups like such

Am licensed
Ex licensed
Sport/Street rider

and if there are a lot of lightweights they drop a am/ex lightweight group in there I guess for saftey reasons.  Get about 15 minutes per session. Good track time and practice.

Yes, Dave is doing good. They checked him out and released him the same night.

It didn't look good at all, he hit the pit wall on the last corner. The wall is a definite candidate for an air fence.
