Title: Under leather ware
Post by: Dave Butler on June 05, 2002, 07:11:50 PM
The weather was quite warm at Blackhawk Farms this past weekend.  Since it was quite warm in my leathers, I am looking for some suggestions on what to wear under my leathers.  July and August will be here soon...

You could try nothing at all if you like. Your new nickname could be "the BUTTler"! ;D

I tend to sweat a lot when I'm racing and I like to wear a one-piece "union suit" under my leathers.  After a trip out on the track I take the one-piece off and let it air dry.  I take a few of these along for the weekend and I rotate them so I always have one that's nice and dry.  I can't stand putting on wet, sweaty, leathers!  This method keeps my leathers dry and smelling good.  At the end of the weekend I just throw the one-piecers in the wash.
You could also try some of that high priced Coolmax.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I found some other options for anyone who is interested:  Kushitani has a one piece Coolmax inner suit, MotoCoolStuff has shirts and pants, and several UK companies have one piece suits for sale.  The WERA BBS has all of the details.  Stay cool....
