Title: AMA Race Coverage in local paper
Post by: tshort on June 09, 2003, 04:14:09 PM
Our very own Milwaukee Journal Sentinel actually ran a story about this last weekend's racing action.  And there were even box scores.  Whoa.

That's awesome.  You think the Star Tribune or the Pioneer Press here would have something about the AMA when they come here to Brainerd!!  NOT >:(  All they care about is NASCRAP and local Winston Cup CRAP?!?!?!!?!

We get 250 updates once in a great while since Perry Melneucic (sp?) is from here.  Pretty weak though.

Have the AMA invite the journalist to take a passenger ride on that FX bike ridden by Steve Rapp, they will love it and do more stories.

I think some local media got invited this weekend, and they did more stories (tv and radio at least). I hope they get the word out, we get more media coverage and more fans
