Well I can tell already that this is going to be a long thread with everyone saying you don't have their favorite bike up there.....

No Aprilia's
No Kawasaki's
No Buell's

And then it will be.....

Where's the choice for the SV
Where's the choice for the ZX-6

Oh wait a minute.  Those are my choices.

What came first?..
The motorcycle dreamer,
Or the motorcyle?

If you are ask what is the best bike of the ones listed... you need to clearify for what use.

My pick is a '91 Duc 900ss ;D

They all have good and all have bad. Honda has great engines but seem to be a little more pricy. Suzuki has parts galore out there it seems, but seem like I always see them blow.  Kawi :) seems like a good bike, some parts hard to find at times, Yamaha seems like a good bike, reliable. Harley Davidson..a lot of heritage, seen a lot on fire roadside. Ducati..seems like a great factory set up..ask Gobert about maintenance...lol.  Any good rider can make any set up bike go fast.  It's all in what you can afford.  I picked up my 00 ZX-6R for 2800 with 8400 street miles on it and had it race prepped suspension wise, wire tie, clipons, rear sets, sprocket, chain, ect.... for under 4k total invested in the bike..that includes the price of the bike..I love it..it runs great and I can toss it around..clean title and no payment..that is the best part.

Well, he asked what is the best bike in the list  :P

But, you didn't specify what your intended usage and skill level is.  Every single one of those bikes has its strengths depending on the situation.

Notice that the poll is for best bike and not best racebike because it's a given that a TZ250 is the best racebike. :)

You are riding while posting.  That is an amazing feat but I would think it'd be a bit dangerous...
