I've got the correct board? thanks for the advice over at the Garage last night - so now what do I do?
You post and post and post on the board until you get 5 stars like me.

hey thanks Dawn - great board - seems very informative and a great group of folks out here sharing information. Nice job! I run WADE which is a non profit Ducati club - come visit us at our site:

tshort is one of our members and raves about this board - I'm very interested in getting involved with CCS so I am hoping to find a bunch of relevant information and so far this board seems to be the epicenter of good stuff re: CCS and other misc. issues.
thanks again for the welcome
Hey Dave - yep, you're at the right place. If you want specific information about how to get started in racing, you may want to try the search feature (right below the banner ad up top). If you don't find what you're looking for that way, posting in the Tips thread or this one will generally get most questions answered pretty quickly.
That was a good night last night at the Garage - for those of you in the Milwaukee area, every Tuesday night is "Two-wheeled Tuesday" at the Garage on Brady Street. They have the big screens going with Speed Vision replaying the latest MotoGP, AMA or WSB races, and a bunch of bikers show up and hang out. Great fun (especially since I don't have cable). Dave here is the organizer of a local Duc club, and a lot of them often show up. It's a good time - check it out.
thanks T!
I'll start searching around here before posting a bunch of questions - youre right this is a great board
You're welcome. BTW, if you haven't seen it yet, the CCS racing site has a great "new racer" package here: http://www.formulausa.com/forms/03%20New%20Racer%20Pkg.PDF
Has all the info regarding costs, licensing, schools, class structure, etc.
If the weather continues to deteriorate this weekend in Iowa, I may not be making the trip, in which case I may be up for a ride with you guys on Saturday. Otherwise, maybe the following weekend you all can come down to Blackhawk and check out how a typical CCS race weekend works.
tshort? You go to the Garage on Tuesdays? Good stuff there. Me and Jennifer have gone a few times, but we just have to be there early before the bouncer gets there at 9. Bartender hasn't had a prob with us, as long as we don't try and get drinks.
Point is, it's great to watch the races there as I don't have speedvision, and it's nice to talk to peopel there. I'll be at a few of those Tuesday gatherings this summer.
Welcome...it's great to have another Ducati rider on the board! ;D
