Title: Can you identify these throttle bodies?
Post by: EX_#76 on October 18, 2016, 11:23:50 AM
These were purchased from a person who could not remember what they came off of.  They have been modified to fit on an SV650.  You can see the brackets have been cut and welded and the linkage has been bent to fit.  I cannot figure out what they came off of and was thinking someone would be able to tell me what they are.  They should be off of some large displacement V twin.

I don't think they are DL1000, SV1000, or TL1000

Thanks
Guy

They are TL1000S throttle bodies.

All of the photos I have seen for the TL1000 and TL1000s do not have that shape where the throttle body would go into the boot.

Metal was ground off the outside of the throttle bodies right? I bought them off of ebay as TL1000s throttle bodies. I don't know if I can go back 11 years on ebay to prove it.

I had not considered that they may have been modified.
