Title: KTM 690 Duke Road Race bike
Post by: Grady on August 22, 2016, 11:13:07 AM
OK I lied. I said I was not going to list this bike on the CCS forum as it is a competitive WERA bike in DSS/DSB and Clubman and no doubt would be competitive in AHRMA SOS1. But it would take an aggressive rider to run it competitively against CCS LW bikes. Except for Ultra Light Superbike it is in all the same classes as my Bimota listed further down on this forum.
But ya never know who shops where so here goes.
I have posted some info on it on the thread http://forums.13x.com/index.php?threads/anyone-racing-a-ktm-690-duke.334686/
That thread has useful discussion on the viability of racing one of these.
I built it as a WERA bike but live in Virginia so racing with WERA has become unrealistic.
So with a heavy heart I offer it for sale. If you race in an active WERA area (like the South East for example) this bike is very competitive in DSS, DSB, Clubman and can run up into the SV filled classes.
