Title: Need some clarification with CCS classes
Post by: obiera on June 26, 2016, 04:16:10 PM
Im pretty new in racing and need some clarification: I have pretty much stock Ninja 300; can I run in: Ultra LW Superbike/Moto3 as well as Ultralight Thunderbike?  Not sure about Moto3.  I also want to run my CBR1000RR in F40 (has ohlins front), thus super stock is out, only superbike, correct?

As for your Ninja 300, you can run GT Ultralights, Ultralight Thunderbike, Moto 3, and 500 Supersport.  You can race up a class to run Ultralight Superbike, but it is really a class for stock SV 650s.  I would have to go look at the rulebook as to whether F40 is supersport or superbike rules.

f40 rules are gp rules. pretty much if displacement fits then run what ya got. when i was running 2 bikes and it rained i would run my 749 in all 3 f40 classes
