Title: MW Region pre-game ice racing/awards banquet
Post by: Farmboy on January 19, 2015, 04:19:49 PM
Huge thanks to Mark, Jane, Meg, Scotty, and everyone else who put on the pre-banquet festivities again this year! It's an awesome prelude to the banquet, and a nice opportunity to get some riding in during the long winter off season. Thanks again!

I want to thank Jerod Herbig, too. Sorry I hogged your bike for so long, I was really starting to feel a groove on it. I hope I didn't keep you from getting out of there too long. Thanks again man, I owe you, and congrats on your accomplishments in 2014.

Thanks to CCS for putting this on again, too. Lake Lawn is a great venue, and I know we all really enjoy the opportunity to get together. They seem to welcome us back no problem, so we must be behaving at least reasonably well..  :ahhh: :ass: :lmao: :blahblah: :boink:

MW is a tight region, and like a big family. It's great to be able to see everyone and have a bit of respite from the cold and snow. Looking forward to seeing everyone trackside soon, stay warm brothers and sisters.

What he said, +1.  After years of saying Thanks, but no,  I got out there and rode Scotty's bike like I had training wheels on. Then, I got on Carl's little bike, and promptly ran out of gas.  It was still an awesome time, and I rode my Harley to work just to be able to get back on a bike today.  I can't wait for the first races....

I was upset i couldn't make it.  My bike wasn't ready (had 2 19" rears) but the KTM has an 18" rim, I had a bad cold and ended up refereeing 11 games that weekend.  I'll be out on the ice this weekend - spare rims came, cold gone and reduce hockey games.  Getting rdy to pick up the R6 from Matt and ship it off to Miami...
