I first noticed a memorial kiosk at Blackhawk Farms today. It is a tower of sorts sitting in the little fenced garden just southwest of the pavilion. It has memorial plaques for four deceased SCCA drivers.
Over the years that I have been with CCS, corner working and riding, we have lost two exceptional Safety Crew Leaders, Bob Sanderson and Bill Ritger, both way too young. They busted their butts to keep us riders safe and allow us to do this thing that we do. I think they each deserve their own plaques on that memorial.
And yes, I would be happy and honored to spearhead this effort.

I've never met either of them but I hear nothing but great things about them. I support this. :thumb:
