Title: SV650 classes
Post by: Lateapexer on August 17, 2013, 06:33:16 PM
OK guys pardon my ignorance but I've read the classes and I'm looking for what most sv/ 650 twins racers normally enter. I've been racing wera for a few years and the grid sizes and good people have already cought my attention with CCS!  So I'm not racing a superbike just a superstockerwith some good stuff. I would like to race in tthunder bike from what I read but I really have no idea. I bought the transponder already and I will be going to Roebling here in two weeks pretty exciting to race with a new group!

Normal classes are any of the lightweight classes (superbike, supersport, GP, LWF40 (if you are 40 and over), GTL). Thunderbike is another. Think Ultralightweight superbike they are legal. Dont worry about superbike. Most people race supersport class bikes in them.

You can definitely get in lots of races in a weekend on an SV650, plus you can always race up  ::)  run middleweight races and beat some 600s  :lmao:

I'm probably just gonna race the ones with all the other svee guys. I'm no pedrosa on this thing I'll save the 600 races for a rainy day ( literally) lol

You can do GT lights 25min -- lw grand prix--- lw superbike ---lw supersport-- ultralight superbike--those races give you overall points, also can do thunderbike --- formula 40--- and supertwins. The last 3 races are just for fun as you get points for the class but not for the overall#plate.
