Check this out, it would be great to stay at your pits and see your lap times and scoring. It is compatible with Westhold systems but it looks like CCS would need to be on the same wifi or provide the information to a race monitor relay service.

It's a nice system and would be awesome if CCS got this working, we tried something similar in MCRA last year.
That is a nice system, altho meeting people at the lap time/ race position board isn't the worst part of my day
We have that luxury with our AHRMA required AMB transponders via MYLaps.com. However, I would rather pay $80 for a transponder than $400. Besides, my lap times are so slow that I normally use a sundial.
I thought CCS tried it a while back, maybe it was just at Homestead.
I loaded the Race Monitor App last year and if I remember correctly, I think there are some compatibility issues iPhones and iPads. Someone can correct me if I've got this wrong. I think another issue was having WiFi available at some of the Tracks. Hell, some Tracks I have difficulty just getting cell reception !

And Blackhawk can be spotty for some cell reception.
My experience:
Race Monitor works great!
I've used it on browsers (MAC and WIN) and iPhone/iPad running endurance with the CMRA. The CMRA (Central Motorcycle RoadRacing Association) now uses it exclusively for live timing for endurance and sprint racing with their AMB based timing system. Even if you aren't at the track you can monitor timing from home/anywhere you can get WiFi or smartphone cell coverage. AAA+++ rating

Silly question...
Did anyone actually talk to someone directly at CCS about this?
While CCS peeps my read this forum, it really is not a functional way to contact them.
