Can you define "keep it stock" please?
I'm looking to get in to this class but don't want to be "that guy" who did the wrong things to his bike. It's my understanding that we can change springs and oil weights in the forks, the rear shock- but not linkage, exhaust, jetting, air filter- but not the airbox, bars, rearsets, gearing, and a few other small things.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Super sport rules, its that simple. All CCS had to do is make it a SS class......but nooooooooo they made a miss print and wrote in Thunder bike !!!!

You are correct.
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to swap pegs and bars. Just don't touch the motor and you are fine. I would say, a nice blueprint would be cool. Every little bit helps but is it worth the cost?

You are correct.
Sorry about that. I did not read correctly.
Thanks Mark.
What changed? I plan on racing CCS and WERA this year, I built the bike for WERA ESS rules. I did not open the engine cases, stock style windscreen...etc.
Is this ultralight thunderbike? I plan on running that and moto3 with the CBR250R.

CCS opened the rules to allow 300's in addition to last years changes which allow super bikes. Riders are running under a gentleman's agreement to keep it 250 and stock. the cool thing is that all of the 250 riders are on the same page which makes it easy. In Florida we have agreed to let riders swap bikes in the event of a protest. Cheap and easy.
In regard to fuel, we have agreed not to run race fuel is the Kawi 's. The Honda being under powered is ok at this point. That is until Daytona anyway.
Mid Atlantic. I live in NJ and plan on doing Summit, NJMP and maybe some VIR rounds this year.
I started this thread on the cbrforum a wile ago. I haven't really put up any updates recently, but you can follow the build if you want.
