Title: AMA membership / ASRA ?

So do you have to have and AMA membership before you can get you're ASRA license?

no you can have an ASRA license as an amertur

Yes, you are required to have a AMA membership for ASRA licensing.
There is a link on the CCS page, to get the membership online (http://www.ccsracing.us/forms.html (http://www.ccsracing.us/forms.html))

This is a "Membership" not a AMA Pro racing license.

Technically, I think you only need to get the AMA Membership to *race* in ASRA/Team Challenge/USGPRU races. You can get the license without it, but you cannot race until you sign up.
