I see F2000 Racing Series (Cars) has the track. I assume we're out of luck for a track day on Friday or is it going to be a cooperative event.
not likely, their tentative schedule, which is totally different than ours.... :

Just spoke to Summit Pt main office.
According to them we will not be allowed into the paddock until 6pm on Friday the 24th.
That sucks.
Just wanted a little clarity here with regards to who is practicing when.

and our own tenative schedule here:http://ccsracing.us/schedules/2012/2012%20schedule%20pdf/Summit%20Aug%20Tentative%20SCHEDULE.pdf (http://ccsracing.us/schedules/2012/2012%20schedule%20pdf/Summit%20Aug%20Tentative%20SCHEDULE.pdf)
Overlapping practice with cars? Print error? Who's going first? When is there any time to sweep/clean/clear track in between cars and riders? What's up with the airfence; if a car strikes it will it take it out of commission and does that impact our safety on track?
Please respond CCS folks. I'm willing to pay good money to race, and I'm willing to run a tight schedule, but somebodies schedule is wrong.
My opinion may not be worth a cup of coffee but it doesn't look very well organized, goat rope comes to mind. Apparently there are going to be three different orgs sharing the track over the weekend. Hopefully you guys have a good time.
So we share the race weekend with them, but we aren't permitted into the paddock until 6pm on Friday?
Why the hell are we sharing the weekend with them in the first place?
