Post by: HerbigCBR on July 09, 2012, 08:28:35 PM
Did I hear that we can email our preentries to CCS now? What email address?

I have done this before but for security reasons, It was recommended that I fax.  I usually just send a follow up email to Eric to make sure the fax was received.

Ok thanks,

If I heard correctly, Bill told us at the riders meeting that we are not supposed to fax in preentries anymore. He said to do it via mail, email, or at the track.

Fax is still the preferred method. Believe the comment to email was directly at individuals that had issue with faxing, the vast majority of riders have access to a fax machine or can fax from their computer.
If you email it is not as secure, and form is not printed til whoever it is sent to can print it then it is put on the stack of entries on the fax machine; ie email Thursday night is printed after all faxes recieved thru print time Monday.

If you have a problem with getting to or using a fax it is acceptable means.

Thanks for the clarification. I will continue to fax since I know which way to put the paper in!
