so all the races are on Sunday, like a FL region schedule.. (i like that).. so why are we not sticking to a FL region race lineup schedule as well? both mid wt and heavy wt races are back to back.. mwss/hwss.. and mwsb/hwsb are back to back (not like that). Why not just make the schedule like it is in FL region?
Really?
yup, saw the copy of the schedule. Practice sat/races sun.
Sweet! Wish I could make it.
I'm overly excited about the racing schedule too!
This is awesome on so many levels! Those who are traveling for one race will get some seat time, those not able to make Saturday will still get some seat time before racing, and those who need to make changes to their settings on Sunday will have an opportunity to test before racing.
This is the best of both worlds!
So, that means all of Saturday is practice? Is there also an independently hosted practice track day on Friday?
Looks like it.

July 6th. Kern trackday.
it will be a busy weekend with back to back racing
I'm having trouble getting in touch with the people running the RRR 7-6-12 Friday practice. The link on the track site won't work for me. I've been trying to email Brett or Nate the way I did for the March practice. I'm not the sharpest tack with computer stuff. So far no word back. Maybe they will see this and get a hold of me or some one else can help.
This will be my second CCS week end so all the track time I can get the better. Wish me luck.
Thanks

Phil, the link for the Friday practice was updated this last week on the CCS schedule page not sure if one on RRR website was updated/correct or not.
Greg the reason for schedule is is to avoid a rider having to change tires if they ride the same bike in SS and SB classes to only one change thru the day with maximum time separation between the required tire change.
I will take a look and talk with Kevin about possibly moving M and H classes further apart but it could cause other conflict issues.
Thanks for the help but I still can't get the Friday practice link to work. It must be a setting on my pc. Does anyone have a phone number or email adress for Nate Kerns track days? I tried face book and didn't get a reply. I tried searching the web for Nate Kern track days and the stite comes up with an error and will not open.
Thanks

Some of those class combinations effectively cut my weekend in half. LWSB / F40 and SuperTwins / LWSS.
I agree FWIW the FL region single day schedule is better.

thing is Eric, in FL region, the 2 supersport races for MW and HW are fairly close together.. No tire change needed (you have your DOT tires on for BOTH supersport races). Then, there is a decent break before the superbike races start for mw and hw.
The FL region schedule works.. tried n' true. Don't fix what ain't broke as they say :)

I agree; Henry has a schedule that affects the least number of people. It can never be perfect.

Also, FWIW, this schedule has been fairly consistent over the last 5-10 years, so many of us have built our programs around which races we can ride in......at least in the FL region.
Have to agree with all on this and be another voice, thats to much back to back.

He has been very fast to communicate with me at that address.
They got a hold of me. I'm all set up now.
Thanks for the help.
better start hydrating now.. gonna be HOT. Yet ANOTHER reason to REDUCE back-to-back races, and just go with the tried and true-already fixerated FLORIDA region schedule if your gonna do all the races Sunday.
I wish mine back to back were flipped-flopped. i will be going from the smaller of the two to the faster bike. Oh boy!

It's going to be hot!
I'm going to need a red bull between races. And help in the pits jumping to the other bike

How much for Saturday practice?
THAT is a good question.. i had pre entered long ago based on the old way of racing sat and sun.. !
$100 pre entry.
Swapping race 16 for race 17 would be good.
Good racing everyone. I had a blast, even though a lot of the times I was just about done with the heat.
