Since the track is longer how many laps equals a sprint race?  Not 6 still?

Sprint races will be 4 laps. ASRA and USGPRU races will be 6 laps. 4 lap races means if you get Meatballed it's an automatic 1 lap penalty - no stop and go with that few of laps.

Longer? when did this happen?

I read it as "the track is longer than most other tracks", not "longer than it was last year".

Didn't know about the no stop-n-go if you get Meatballed, not that it matters for me anyways

Rule book : 3.4.4.F.

"races 5 laps or less penalty is 1 lap."
