Got to love the fine print:

"Michelin Pro Series and USGPRU will grid by current point standings"
Is it too difficult to get grid based off practice lap times? Really?
This puts a huge disadvantage to all racers who haven't yet participated.
Its RA and they are running twin sprints.
I would be more shocked if they tried to squeeze in qualifing.
As far as a disadvantage, there are only 6 people with points in 250GP.
Preenter.. and there you go.

They're gridding by points, not pre-entry.Edit: Derr... sorry... yeah, pre-enter and get a better spot of those with no points. I'm going to take a wild guess that there wont be more than two rows of bikes again, and if half the field is Moriwakis and 125s like at Roebling, well, you should have a wee advantage over them at Road America.
I guess I keep think of the old days when there was 40x 125GP and 30x 250GP entries. Where are all these kids going after 125GP and Moriwaki 250MD? Straight to a 600?
Well they aren't going ot the Lightweight ranks lol, that's mostly us old guys 8-)

Yeah, no. There were 6 bikes on the 250GP grid at Roebling.
2 of them were Moris and one was a 125. I'm guessing the 2 kids on Moris, and one of the other 250's besides X will be at RA. I don't think any of the local guys are bringing 250s (like Swager or Travis) but then I really have no idea who else might show up.
Anyhoo, I'd be thrilled to see a 10 bike grid. I have no idea what the kids are doing these days. I see some familiar USGPRU names in the "Next Moto Champ" class in the WERA Nat. results, but otherwise, I think their only choice for next step up is to a 600.
... because yes, lightweight is for old people. (lol Terry)
