Not trying to be a jerk, but this basic type of technology isn't anything new for those of us who have been exposed to it in manufacturing (21 years as a Tool & Die Maker for myself). Stereo Lithography and other similar processes have been around for quite a while (decades) generating 3D physical models, this is merely a more refined commercialized twist on the same basic type of technology that's finally being seen by the general public.
