What org was out taking photos this weekend at NJMP?
DieselBoy, I was out there and so was DWPhotoworks. I am just getting to go through my shots (durned regular job) but DW got his up over at http://www.dwphotoworks.com/NJMPEventPhotos2011/CCS-at-NJMP-2011
I can't make out a plate # in your avatar. If you PM or post it, I will keep a look out for you. DW was there Friday and Sunday, I only made Sunday (see comment about regular job above)
Hello! please let me know if you have any decent shots of #352
=)
Ah, raced Saturday and crashed out Sunday practice, bummer.
I keep checking Windshadow's site for updates. I understand he probably has a day job. I don't have any photos of me on DW's site. I was only racing on Sunday. CCS #119.
Ronaldo, yeah, unfortunately my day job is up in PA and my Darkroom is down in Vineland NJ. I will be going through cycle shots tonight and Sidecars tomorrow while the cycles upload. I will post here when I have them uploading and will let you, Wes, and Diesel know what I come up with personally, since you took the time to check me out!
I appreciate that very much! I will certainly bookmark your link so I always have it. Look forward to meeting you at future events. Will you be at Summit Point in 2 weeks?
My Pleasure to help you guys out. You always put on an amazing show. All of my shooting is based at NJMP, so I will make it to all three rounds. I don't know who will be at Summit point, but Kathy takes phenomenal photos as well at skin and leather. I will keep you in mind for future rounds.
Still going guys, hang tight. I have 216 more to sift through this afternoon and then I will begin uploading. I came home with about 1000 frames. I love to shoot your series ;) and I go through and tune them all, so please be patient and to those who already have been patient a ginormous THANK YOU!
If any of you guys have pictures of Bike number 998 I am interested
Alrighty everyone, I finally culled down to 275 keepers and am currently uploading. My connection is slow, so bear with it, but you can start viewing at http://www.windshadowstudios.net/ccsnjr1r2011 and see if you are there. I know there are some 119's in there and pretty sure on 352. I will hunt and see if any 998's are there as well, Peter. Also, www.dwphotoworks.com has shots as well, as we shoot together a lot. For ANYTHING custom (packages, products, or physical media) please e-mail me at windshadowstudios @ verizon.net (spaces to prevent spambots, just delete them) Thanks again everyone
Wow no pictures of The light weight bikes?
found some good pictures in there, specially in the rain. was really happy to find http://www.windshadowstudios.net/ccsnjr1r2011/e284a1002 first expert win and will be spending some $$ with you. good work :thumb:
No lightweight love from any of the photographers. Really stinks would have loved a pick from my first race weekend
Guys if you had any idea how difficult it is to shoot every race on a weekend (and try to get every rider) then go home with days and days of homework sorting through pics in addition to a full time (other) job..... it's grueling.
Best way to guarantee you will get lots of shots taken of you is to:
- seek out the photographer(s) before the weekend starts
- tell them you want pics,
- give them a description of your bike, leathers, and helmet
- tell them what races you will be in,
- be patient after the race while they go through thousands of shots to weed out the blurry ones, the headless ones, and then find the ones of you
- show your appreciation by making a purchase, even if you are only using the pics to analyze your body position
- don't complain because the photographer who didn't know you were there, didn't also read your mind :)
I will be at Summit Point and I will take my cameras, but most likely will not be shooting all the races. Bob Hartman of Etech photo is usually there for all the CCS races.
.
Kathy, thanks for the props in your posts. I would love tocover an entire race weekend just once. You guys in CCS have shown me much love last season and so far some good stuff this season. I will definately try to hit up the lightweight stuff next round. Unfortunately, my full time job prevents me from being at the track on Saturday's. If you drop me an e-mail before the next NJMP round I will look for you. Kathy's tips are good, the more info a photog has, the better chance of getting your shots. I had a couple meet-ups during the day, so I was unable to catch the lightweight stuff. I appreciate the pageviews and those who have ordered so much, and not to mention the show you all put on is phenomenal. I will be launching art pieces soon, if you have anything you see and want something special, just let me know! Have fun and be safe guys, and say cheese when you round the turn!
