Hello All You Fellow Racers,
I used to race at the Loudon, New Hampshire track a few years back. Since then I have become a web developer. One of the things I always wanted but never did was create a website to thank my sponsors and show my family and friends what really takes place during a race weekend.
I have developed a relatively inexpensive way for you to get a website up. You will be able to edit your own content using a normal text editor on the web. We can also help you learn how to upload images so you can have an image gallery. With a little training, which we can help you with, you will be able to create content and images easily.
We are currently building a support page that you can get free programs that will help you all in the processes.
Come and visit www.racereadywebsites.com (http://www.racereadywebsites.com). If you have any question you can go to the contact page for submitting questions. You can also call us if you choose.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

WordPress, it's a wonderful thing. And now that MU has been merged with 3.x it's even easier!
Yeah I have a friend who races down in Homestead, Jennings and Morosso (or whatever it is called now). I figured i could do a little business and help out with cheap websites for the racers. We'll see how it goes! Thanks for the reply!
I wouldn't call your prices "relatively inexpensive" though, $500 to $600 plus for a caned pre-made WordPress theme on a shared site that you don't even get your own unique domain name is a lot to ask.
I have been running my own Wordpress blog for going on seven years. I customized a template myself just by reading. HTML and CSS aren't really that hard and WP setup make it real easy. I think I pay like $120/year and I can host as many sites as I want to provided I buy the website address.
