Couldn't find anybody who could tell us what the overall track record for motorcycles is at Roebling Road. But, I think Nate Kern's 1.11.2 on Sunday July 4 has got to be darn close.
Anybody know?
Yeah,I got a text from him saying "new track record".
Jeanne, I do not know. Folks say it is in regards to CCS, but either way I just had fun and really enjoy our new BMW RR. All in all a very safe weekend and eveyone I spoke to is thankful CCS came back to RRR!
Cheers,
Nate
Should be pretty close, but Im pretty sure Tray Batey, Taylor Knapp, and Mark Junge all ran 1.11.1 at the national 2 years ago.
I think that was a WERA race, this was a CCS,either way, alot faster than my old ass for sure...wow.
i looked at at wera laps and saw some 1:11.7 this year, dont know what the best ever in a race is.

A track record is a track record. Doesnt matter who you race with or what bike youre on. Doing it any other way is like giving trophies for 4th and 5th. Congratulations for showing up!!! Youre a winner!!! Mommy loves you!!!
I think it has to be the record for CCS. I heard Hunt did a 10.9 this year with Wera. I don't know. N8 was on the gas though!!!!!!!
Great ride. How ya feelin N8?
Ben, don't you have the track records at Gateway, Topeka and Blackhawk for those 6'6" or taller riding a yellow bike? :kicknuts:

LOL, exactly. Im the fastest 6'6 fatty since the last fast 6'6 fatty. Lucky for me peoples memories are short. Just like I was gifted the "LW" lap record at gateway this year. Ed was having problems with his bike and the heat, so I was able to cruise to some pretty easy wins. I went pretty fast but not nearly as fast as possible, not to mention it was 100 degrees out with a track temp near 165. However, according to those who have been paying attention for 4 years they said I now have the "LW" track record. The bad news is they werent paying attention the 5 years ago when Ed and Winnacker went 1.5 seconds faster and were in the mid 8s on LW bikes!!! But hey, ill take my 6 track records! Robbie, im coming for you.
Nate crashed in his last race Sunday. Is he ok?
Hunt did a 1:10.588 at RRR.

Yea, but that was with Wera timming equipment... and we all know that Wera subtracts at least 2 seconds so they think they're riders faster than everyone else... :lmao:

Yes... that's a joke... in response to the thread over on the WERA bbs.
I've seen those threads. The fast guys race everywhere they can get paid. Even Sean doesn't buy that one faster than the other thing.
